rivals.football
There's nothing quite like derby day in football. That's why we've created rivals.football - a website dedicated to football's best derby matches.
We've scoured the footballing archives and crunched the numbers to find the most essential stats any fan needs to know about their big derby. We'll look at overall records vs your arch rivals - how many times have you beaten them? How many times have you lost? And how many goals has your team scored and conceded?
We know there's a lot of attendance police amongst us, so you'll see high level stats about how many fans in total have attended derby matches, as well as averages for each club - so we can really put the matter to rest!
As well as those high level stats, we'll also dive into the intricate details of every big rivalry in football - including which results are most frequent (we all prefer a pulsating 4-4 as opposed to a boring 0-0). You can also find a complete record of all derbies played at each ground, and in each competition.
Think referees on derby day always favour your rivals? Well, now you'll be able to prove it as we've looked at the disciplinary records to see which derbies are the fiercist.
So next time you're arguing with your friends about your derby's history, don't - just check out the stats at rivals.football.
We support a limited number of derbies at the moment, including the Manchester Derby, North London Derby, Merseyside Derby, the Tyne-Wear Derby and the Second City Derby.
We're not just about the big clubs and Premier League rivalries though - we love a passionate derby at any level and also have detailed stats from some of the (so-called) smaller clubs including: the South Wales Derby, Devon Derby, Potteries Derby, South Coast Derby and many more!
New derbies are being added regularly, but if you've got one you'd like to see added (or one you can help out with the data for), please contact us.
